Diplomarbeit, die am 28. 05. 2002 erfolgreich an einer Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie in Deutschland im Fachbereich Betriebswirtschaft eingereicht wurde. Einleitung: Das Produktmanagement wurde bisher fast ausschließlich im Rahmen des Konsumgüter- oder Investitionsgütermarketings thematisiert. Eine Differenzierung des Produktmanagementkonzeptes im Hinblick auf das Geschäft mit Dienstleistungen steht noch weitgehend aus. Diese Arbeit zeigt auf, dass das Produktmanagement auch im Geschäft mit Dienstleistungen in der Unternehmensorganisation gewinnbringend eingesetzt werden kann. Aufgrund der Besonderheiten von Dienstleistungen ist aber eine direkte Anwendung nur teilweise möglich. Vielmehr werden Anpassungsmöglichkeiten und neue Ansatzpunkte benötigt. Aufgrund des Umfangs des Themas konzentriert sich diese Arbeit auf Dienstleistungen für Geschäftskunden und insbesondere auf Dienstleistungen bei denen neue Technologien am Beispiel Internet-Housing/-Hosting eine tragende Rolle spielen. Gang der Untersuchung: Es wird auf vorhandene einschlägige Modelle des Produktmanagements eingegangen und insbesondere auf das Marketing-Mix. Darauf aufbauend werden differenzierte Optimierungsansätze erarbeitet. Die dargestellten wissenschaftlichen Modelle und die erarbeiteten Ansatzpunkte des Produktmanagements werden am Beispiel Internet-Housing/-Hosting konkretisiert.
